THE WHITE TOWER
Started by William the Conqueror and lies at the heart of the Tower of London. Part of the foundations used were laid by the Romans, so that's pretty cool. You know that whole thing about when the ravens leave the Tower, the monarchy will fall? Those ol' ravens are still there and the monarchy still stands, of course the birds wings are clipped. And you can watch children chase the poor things.

DUNVEGAN CASTLE
Continuously inhabited for 700 years. It's still lived in today, so only part of the castle is open for tours. It's like a mini museum in there. Pretty cool place. You can take boat tours and look at seals.

PAUL REVERE'S HOUSE
Paul Revere lived here. Someone who is not Mr. Revere lives in period brick building in the background. The house on the historical register is furnished and decorated with period artifacts. Guides in every room will make you feel nervous and cause you to leave quickly.

THE BREAKERS
Or the Elm's, or even something else. Either way its a massive house in Newport, RI where all the well to-dos of the late 1800s lived. The area is beautiful, so you can understand why no one who doesn't own an oil, iron, or train company can't live there. Of course these were the oldern days, so accommodations were tight--only two people could live here comfortably.

GILLETTE CASTLE
The building has no relation to the razor company, but instead to the first stage actor to portray Sherlock Holmes. He was apparently a rich dude. The grounds of his estate featured a private small gauge railway line.
