A COMPUTER DESK I like to save money and/or not pay much for anything, so I'm usually looking for a deal. Home Depot has a discount wood rack where you can sometimes find some good wood for cheap prices. This desk started from that pile as a piece of white oak plywood.

A COMPUTER DESK I designed and built the desk on the fly. The size of the desk was a result of the size of the plywood. Correspondingly everything grew from that.

A BATHROOM CABINET My first piece of built furniture and part of the reason for me starting to make furniture. All the nice good quality cabinets are too expensive. The cabinets that are affordable are not so good quality. So away I went.

DISPLAY CRATE Have a collection of small ships you would like to display but don't know where to display them? Look no further. Either buy or make (in this case) some sort of fruit crate looking object. Add some plexiglass shelves. Then find some pictures of old fruit crate labels to glue on the sides and there you go. Ten bucks later you've got this trendy looking piece.

BOOKSHELVES Look, no screws or nails! Only old fashioned glue and pegs in this project. It's the computer desk's pal in office order. I didn't really know what I was doing with this project and if you look really closely you can tell, but that's ok I don't look too closely at it.
||||||||
BOOKSHELVES Did I mention this cost about thirty dollars to make? The Home Depot cheap wood pile rules. Some of this wood originally had mold on it, but not all of it. They ended up throwing it all on the cheap wood pile anyway. It worked out well for me.

BOOKSHELVES These shelves are really heavy. Not so heavy that one mostly out of shape person can't carry them up a flight and a half of stairs, but heavy enough to make the trip very tiring.
