This is a pointless piece of shit - LEAVE NOW.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MAJORS These aren't even people that have graduated college yet. They're still in school, but you wouldn't know it by the way they talk. I don't even see them mentioned very often, but when I do it's always the same old story. I'm super smart and taking two majors and hoping to work in Japan and I take honors courses and blah blah blah. Honors Econ 101? Is it really much harder than Econ 101? Really. You rarely hear about ordinary business majors talking about how hard their program is, usually you hear announcements that the time is beer-thrity, or that its 2pm on Wednesday - the weekends here!. So I'm confused as to why the international business majors tought themselves as being involved in such hard degree programs. I don't know much about business majors in college except for the 10 or so I knew (living in a dorm) while going to college. Let me recount a true story: A paper was due in a popular business class the next day. While everyone was working on the paper (2 pages total probably) there was a Paul Revere like messenger running from room to room with news of a new font that was slightly larger than all the rest of the fonts. Thankfully, with the new font everyone would have to type 8 less words for the paper that was due the next morning. Fantastic. I don't know what class it was for. "ECON" was thrown around a lot. I don't know what any of them studied or learned. Even my roomate ,who was a business, studied little as well and he was a studios person. I just don't think, in general, that the business degrees are very rigirous programs. International business? I only knew one of them. Probably smarter on the average than the standard business major, but I missed the great amount of work or research they're doing that demands them being placed on such a high pedistal. YOU'RE A BUSINESS MAJOR! International or not, calm down. I'm tired of IB majors thinking they should be ranked along side of doctors and astronauts. So what if you're an international business professional instead of a vanilla business professional. The only difference I see is that you're kicking back beers with Juan, Soy-Kim, or Pierre instead of kicking back beers with John, Rick, or Susan. Get off your high horse. My ranking of difficulty in studies? Surgeons - Doctors - a whole lot of other people - Liberal Arts majors. I guess I wrote that in college? Or shortly thereafter? I don't know. I never came up with a point. What the fuck was my problem? |
