This is an attempt to chart the regular weekly usage of my time. An attempt to determine if most of my waking hours are spent at work is where it started at. Quick math tells me that the majority of my waking hours during the week are spent at work. A clear majority of my work time is spent in one chair staring at one computer screen.

When I calculated the time remaining after working, driving, sleeping, and walking to work, I was surprised. It seemed I did not have that much free time. So I went to work on determining what I was doing during that time.

I tried to accurately determine how much time I spent on tasks during my remaining time, though I did not officially record any of this time, only took my best educated guess [seeing that I am the one determining the time I have spent doing this, I feel confident of the numbers]. I was surprised at the amount of time left over after backing out all of the regular weekly activities.

Of course there is no account taken for unscheduled time here.
